You can get on a weekly e-mailing list of Caregiving topics and the site focuses on taking care of your health while caring for others. Experts scout journals, press releases, government agencies and information from major universities to provide quality health information.

At first glance, this website can make you dizzy for all the information presented on the home page. Just head for the left-hand side, "Site At A Glance" for an outline of all the features. Take some time here. Tips, wellness, legal issues, housing...this site is packed with info and links. 
Created in 1994 by Karen Stevenson Brown, a CPA, to gather information on the Web in this area. Now includes a search engine to find local resources, articles, and links to other sources.

The internet community of eldercaregivers. 
“ElderCare Online is a beacon for people caring for aging loved ones. Whether you are caring for a spouse, parent, relative or neighbor, we are committed to providing an online community where supportive peers and professionals help you improve quality of life for yourself and your elder.” An informal site, set up for support and information.
The home page is all about that balance caregivers need--information for caring right beside a strong caregiver community. In the community, you can ask questions that are answered by the panel of over 2 dozen experts as well as by other caregivers. You can ask that these Daily Questions be sent to your e-mail so that you can easily answer them or check out the posted answers to help you.  Agingcare.com offers a weekly e-mail Newsletter with articles like: *Deal with an Elder's Constant Complaining and *How to Convince Your Parent to Move to Assisted Living. From the website, you can send a quick CareReport on your parent's status to other members of the family. Information, community, an easy site to get around, a supportive group--this is a great site to check out!

This free medical literature database contains the information from MEDLINE, the premier database in international medicine and allied health, as well as additional citations from other journal sources. Use this to find research information about medical conditions, clinical trials, drugs or nursing topics.

A free, informational website aimed at helping those affected by nursing home abuse and nursing home neglect. The website center is staffed by a small group based out of Syracuse, NY who researches adn cites their information.
